Aryk's Story

Kittens are very social by nature, so if there is no other cat in the home, our kittens (under one year of age) are adopted in pairs.

Say hello to the A-Team brothers! Aryss and Aryk are about 6 months old and came to rescue with their mom and sister. The kittens were very shy and confused at first, but are definitely realizing how great it is to be loved! Aryk has made a lot of progress since arriving in his foster home, but will need an adopter who will give him time to get comfortable and show his true adorable personality. Aryss and Aryk love to play with each other and with toys. One of Aryk's favorite toys is the cat tunnel. He loves to run through it. He is also a big fan of treats - or really any food for that matter! If you are eating something he thinks smells good, watch out because you will have his attention in no time! Aryk is a polydactyl kitten so he has extra toes that make him look like he is wearing mittens! They have been fostered with other cats and small dogs and have done well with both. If you are looking for a gorgeous kitten (or two) to add to your forever family, apply today! Their adoption fee is $50 each.

If you've already applied and would like to transfer your application to Aryk, please submit an Adoption Application Transfer Request.

Adoption Process

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home.

An application does not obligate you to adopt, and can be transferred to any pet. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call within 7-10 days. If you would like to transfer your application to a different pet, please submit an adoption application transfer request. You will need the application number and email address from your original application.

We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a shelter location where pets can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting a pet in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal. Please note that we do not perform same-day adoptions.

Thanks so much for caring about a needy animal!
