Join us for our largest-ever Third Annual Blue Gala at Nicotra's Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island, NY We are excited to announce our Third Annual Blue Gala will take place on November 21, 2014 in the Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn of Staten Island. This is our only large gala of the year and your support means more animals saved in our communities. If you cannot adopt, foster or volunteer, or even if you CAN, this is the perfect chance for you to help make an impact on our work with animals! The evening includes dinner, dancing, live performances, celebrity guests (more TBA!), a silent auction, raffles and afterparty admission to Above. Co-hosting the evening will be Ellie Lee of VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" whose twin passions are dogs and entertainment, and singer/DJ Vinnie Medugno, known as much for his philanthropy as for his music. Headlining the festivities will be Canadian disco legend France Joli, whose spectacular debut song “Come To Me” is as fresh today as it was thirty-five years ago; Angela "Big Ang" Raiola of VH1's "Mob Wives" and "Miami Monkey", who recently adopted a Pit Bull puppy from Louie’s Legacy and has donated several autographed bottles of her signature wine for the silent auction; Priscilla Menella from Oxygen Network's 7th season of "Bad Girls Club"; New York-born Queen of Dance, Reina; Lime, the legendary synthpop group from Montreal; and celebrity photographer Mike Ruiz, who, as a tribute to the rescue's work, has created a 2015 calendar "Hunks and Hounds," featuring the dogs of Louie's Legacy and twelve male models. Howard Perlin, creator of and cartoonist for Family Huggs will be creating caricatures of guests all evening. Thank you to OMJ Productions for sponsoring the evening's entertainment! The Third Annual True Blue Award in Volunteering will be awarded that night to Carol Locey of Milford, OH, dedicated foster mom, volunteer, event planner and most of all, amazing photographer of our rescued animals in Ohio! To inquire about sponsorship, journal ads or raffle or silent auction donations, please email us at Tickets: $90 per person or $170 per couple
